BGN Deputy Chief Trenggono Seeks Exit From TNI
BGN said the process began Wednesday as its leadership was reshuffled amid the MBG corruption case.
The new deputy head of the National Nutrition Agency, Mayjen Trenggono, has submitted his resignation from the TNI after joining BGN's leadership ranks. BGN Chief Nanik S Deyang said the process has been filed and is expected to be completed soon. According to Nanik, the move began on Wednesday (4/6). Before joining BGN, Trenggono served as deputy chief executive officer of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara. Nanik said a military background is needed to support the 3T program because BGN requires territorial expertise. The shake-up came after President Prabowo Subianto removed Dadan Hindayana, Sony Sonjaya, and Lodewyk Pusung from BGN. That same night, Kejagung named the three suspects in an alleged corruption case involving the Makan Bergizi Gratis program.
