Prabowo replaces BGN leadership, elevates Nanik Deyang
Dadan Hindayana, Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sanjaya were removed; the government said the MBG program will continue unaffected.
President Prabowo Subianto reshuffled the leadership of the Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) effective June 2, 2026. Dadan Hindayana was removed as head, and Nanik S. Deyang, who had served as deputy head, was appointed to lead the agency. The two other deputy heads, Lodewyk Pusung and Sony Sanjaya, were also removed and replaced by Agustina Arumsari and Maj. Gen. TNI Trenggono. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi said the decision followed nearly 1.5 years of monitoring and evaluation of BGN's performance. The Palace said the Makan Bergizi Gratis service would keep running during the transition. In the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the changes responded to public aspirations and parliamentary input, and he hoped the new leadership would quickly improve governance and strengthen services, especially in 3T areas.
