Dudung denies having MBG kitchen after linking pesantren to Dadan

Kepala Kantor Staf Kepresidenan Dudung Abdurachman denied reports that he owns a Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi, or kitchen for the Makan Bergizi Gratis program. Dudung explained that several months ago he only helped connect pesantren administrators with former Badan Gizi Nasional chief Dadan Hindayana after a pesantren expressed interest in being both a beneficiary target and a site for MBG implementation. He said the pesantren has thousands of santri and was administratively ready. After the introduction, Dudung said he did not take part in further discussions and asked that coordination continue through his staff member, Arif Nurrachman. He also said he had asked about the proposal’s progress several weeks ago, but the application process was still incomplete and the kitchen had not been built.
