PLN and Pertamina send aid to Flores quake evacuees
PLN installed emergency lighting and a backup generator at Stadion Samador Maumere, while Pertamina delivered aid for 422 recipients.
PLN and Pertamina Patra Niaga distributed emergency aid to residents affected by the M7.7 quake in Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur. PLN sent volunteers to evacuation posts in Maumere, Mbay, Manggarai Timur, and Ngada, while speeding up restoration of the electricity network. At Stadion Samador in Maumere, PLN installed emergency lighting and prepared a backup generator to support the health post, public kitchen, and evacuee security at night. PLN aid also included staple-food packages, ready-to-eat meals, medicines, first-aid kits, infant supplies, and cleaning items. Separately, Pertamina Patra Niaga distributed more than 250 ready-to-eat meal packages, 100 cartons of mineral water, 20 cartons of biscuits, 15 cartons of bread, 20 cartons of UHT milk, medicines, three portable toilets, and a 3.000 watt generator to 422 beneficiaries.
