Yair Netanyahu evacuated from Florida to Israel over Iran threat

Yair Netanyahu, the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was evacuated from Florida, United States, to Israel after a murder threat linked to Iran emerged. Israel's domestic security service, Shin Bet, confirmed the threat and said the evacuation decision was made after a situational assessment. A Newsmax report, cited by the Jerusalem Post, said Israeli intelligence had detected an Iranian plot to kill Yair in Florida since December and informed U.S. authorities. U.S. law enforcement sources cited by the media outlet said suspected Iranian agents were believed to be in the Miami area and were monitoring Yair's home and movements. Last week, Benjamin Netanyahu also said Iran had tried to kill one of his sons, without specifying whether the target was Yair or Avner.
