Kejagung opens 3 new probes into Febrie case, no suspects yet

Polri’s earlier suspect designations for Febrie Adriansyah and Don Ritto still stand, but Kejagung’s files list both only as witnesses.

The Kejaksaan Agung has issued three new investigation warrants in a suspected corruption and money laundering case involving former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah. Kepala Pusat Penerangan Hukum Kejagung Anang Supriatna said as of Wednesday (15/7), no suspects had been named in the three warrants. Warrant No. 43 concerns alleged corruption and TPPU involving PT Krakatau, No. 44 covers coal procurement for PLTU that allegedly triggered a blackout, and No. 45 concerns suspected corruption at PT Asabri and PT Jiwasraya in the 2020-2025 period. Kejagung said all pro justitia actions are now in the hands of its investigators after the case was transferred from Polri. Even so, the suspect status earlier assigned by Polri to Febrie Adriansyah and Don Ritto is said to remain in effect, while Kejagung investigators review the evidence handed over.
