Febrie Adriansyah steps down as Jampidsus after home search
The Attorney General's Office said case handling under Jampidsus will continue while Polri investigates the related legal process.
Febrie Adriansyah resigned from his post as Attorney General's Office junior attorney general for special crimes, or Jampidsus, on Saturday, 11 July 2026, and his resignation letter has been received by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin. Head of the Legal Information Center at the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, said the move was taken to preserve the integrity, objectivity, and neutrality of law enforcement amid legal proceedings being carried out by Polri investigators. A day earlier, Febrie had said he had received orders to complete the filing of a corruption case with limited detention time. His name came under scrutiny after his private home in Sentul, Bogor, was searched by a joint team from Kortas Tipikor Polri and Polda Metro Jaya. During the search, investigators seized 74 kilograms of gold bars and cash with a total value of around Rp 476 miliar.
