Gerindra: Prabowo urges Polri, Kejaksaan Agung to stay united
Habiburokhman said he has brought the two institutions together, while Komisi III formed a working group to oversee the Febrie case.
Gerindra Deputy Chairman Habiburokhman said President Prabowo Subianto wants Polri and Kejaksaan Agung to stay united in handling a corruption case linked to former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah. At the DPR complex in Jakarta on Saturday, 11 July 2026, Habiburokhman said he had brought the two institutions together and they agreed to strengthen coordination so the case can be resolved. He added that Komisi III DPR has also formed a working committee to monitor the process. He said law enforcement must not be slowed only because the case involves individuals inside the security apparatus, and conflict between institutions should be avoided. Tempo reported that Febrie has been named a suspect in alleged corruption involving PT Asabri, PT Krakatau Steel, and coal supplies that were said to trigger power outages in several regions.
