England beat Norway 2-1 in extra time to reach World Cup semis
What's next: England will play Argentina or Switzerland on Wednesday in Atlanta after Jude Bellingham scored twice in Miami Gardens.
England rallied from an early deficit and beat Norway 2-1 after extra time on Saturday to advance to the World Cup semifinals. Andreas Schjelderup put Norway ahead in the 36th minute, but Jude Bellingham leveled just before halftime and struck again three minutes into extra time after a rebound from Morgan Rogers' shot. A Norway goal from Torbjorn Heggem early in the second half was erased by video review for a foul by Erling Haaland in the buildup. The quarterfinal at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens was played in heavy heat, with kickoff temperatures around 90 degrees and a heat index above 100. England, seeking its first World Cup title since 1966, will face the winner of Argentina vs. Switzerland in Wednesday's semifinal in Atlanta.
