England fans sing “Hey Jude” after Bellingham leads semifinal run
His two goals against Norwegia lifted Jude Bellingham to six at the tournament, level with Harry Kane for England.
Jude Bellingham drew praise from England supporters after scoring two goals as The Three Lions beat Norwegia 2-1 and advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 World Cup in Miami, United States. After the match, England fans in the stadium sang “Hey Jude” for the 23-year-old midfielder. Bellingham again proved decisive after scoring twice in England’s 3-2 win over Meksiko in the round of 16. The two goals against Norwegia lifted his total at this tournament to six, level with England captain Harry Kane. England now prepare to face Argentina in the semifinal in Atlanta on Wednesday (15/7) as they seek a second World Cup title since 1966.
