Kejagung Detains Febrie for 20 Days, Admits No Vest

Kejagung said the late-night process left Febrie in custody at Rutan KPK without a prison vest or handcuffs.

Kejaksaan Agung detained former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah for 20 days after naming him a suspect in an alleged money laundering case on Friday night in Jakarta. Febrie left the Kejagung Main Building at about 23.00 WIB after roughly 10 hours of questioning, wearing a gray batik shirt without a detention vest or handcuffs, before being taken to the KPK Detention Center. Deputy Attorney General for Supervision Rudi Margono apologized and said officers were rushed because it was already late. According to Kejagung, the suspect status was followed by a new warrant numbered Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 dated 20 July 2026, after files and evidence were handed over by Polri, including 74 kilograms of gold and foreign currency worth hundreds of billions of rupiah.
