Kejagung opens TPPU probe into 74 kg of gold, Febrie absent

Investigators set a repeat summons for July 24 after receiving Rp543 billion in cash and foreign currency from Polri.

The Attorney General's Office has opened a new investigation into alleged money laundering involving former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah after receiving evidence of 74 kilograms of gold, Rp543 billion, and foreign currency from Kortas Tipidkor Polri. The special TPPU warrant is numbered Print-03/F.2/Fd.2/07/2026 and dated July 20, 2026. In the first questioning by Team 9 on Wednesday, July 22, Febrie did not appear, citing health reasons, while another witness identified as NH also failed to show up without notice. Kejagung has scheduled a repeat summons for Friday, July 24. In addition to Febrie, investigators have summoned Don Ritto, NH, and TS. Kejagung has also invited the KPK coordination and supervision team, the Komisi Kejaksaan, Kortas Tipidkor Polri, and LPSK to attend the questioning process.
