Iranian media lists 13 foreign officials for revenge
The list includes Trump, Netanyahu, Macron, Meloni and Merz, but no official Iranian government endorsement accompanied it.
Iranian conservative newspaper Hamshahri published an infographic naming 13 foreign officials as targets for revenge over the killing of Ali Khamenei. The list, published Saturday night, included U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, along with several other U.S. and Israeli officials. The infographic also carried a statement from Mojtaba Khamenei that the "criminals" on the list would not die peacefully in their beds. However, there was no indication that the list was approved by the Iranian government or the office of the supreme leader, and the infographic did not appear in Sunday's print edition. Iran previously accused European countries of collusion for allowing U.S. military aircraft to pass through their airspace during the war.
