Iran claims strikes on U.S. bases in Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait
IRGC broadened its claimed attacks to Bahrain and Al Udeid as the U.S. kept striking Iran after the Strait of Hormuz incident.
Iran claimed it expanded attacks on U.S. military facilities in the Middle East, from Jordan to Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, said it had hit Prince Hassan Air Base and earlier Al Azraq in Jordan, including a command center and MQ-9 drone hangars. In statements cited by IRIB and Al Jazeera, Iran also said it launched drones at Patriot systems, ammunition depots and U.S. radar in Kuwait, and attacked communications and radar systems in Bahrain. In Qatar, the IRGC claimed it targeted Al Udeid with ballistic missiles. The salvo came as U.S. Central Command said it again struck Iran after a Cyprus-flagged container ship was hit while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
