Indonesia beats Mozambik 1-0, sweeps FIFA Matchday in June

Indonesia closed out the June FIFA Matchday with a 1-0 win over Mozambik at Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday. Ole Romeny scored the decisive goal. The result completed a two-match sweep after Indonesia beat Oman 3-0 last Friday. The match against Mozambik stayed tight for 90 minutes, with both teams creating chances and hitting the post. PSSI chairman Erick Thohir said the game was physical and that both sides altered tactics several times. According to live FIFA rankings at Wednesday 02.00 WIB, the two victories lifted Indonesia four spots to 118th in the world with 1,157.14 points, while Mozambik dropped to 103rd with 1,218.62 points.
