Dukcapil opens mobile services for NTT quake victims through Aug. 28
Six teams are deployed to Manggarai, Ende, Sikka, Ngada, Nagekeo and Manggarai Barat to replace lost documents free.
The Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration has opened mobile services for residents affected by the quake in Nusa Tenggara Timur so lost or damaged civil documents can be replaced quickly. The Dukcapil Tanggap Bencana NTT program runs from July 24 to Aug. 28, 2026. Director General of Dukcapil Teguh Setyabudi said residents must not lose their identity rights because of a disaster. Six service units have been sent to Kabupaten Manggarai, Manggarai Barat, Manggarai Timur, Ngada, Nagekeo, Ende and Sikka. Each team carries equipment to capture and print KTP-el data and other tools for issuing or replacing documents. The service refers to Permendagri Nomor 96 Tahun 2019 on data collection and document issuance for residents vulnerable to civil registration problems.
