Singapore Cat A COE tops Cat B again as most premiums fall

Singapore's latest Certificate of Entitlement auction ended with lower premiums in most categories, but Category A for smaller cars still finished above Category B for larger cars and EVs. Category A fell 1.72% to S$123,847, while Category B dropped 2.75% to S$123,502, marking the third time this year that Cat A has cost more. Commercial vehicle COEs slipped to S$93,001 from a record S$94,000, motorcycle premiums eased to S$9,989, and the open category inched up to S$129,002. A total of 4,462 bids were received for 3,219 available COEs in the twice-monthly tender.
