Saudi airstrike in east of Sanaa reportedly kills 27

Most of the victims were reported to be women and children, while the Saudi-led coalition had not commented.

Houthi-run media and health authorities reported at least 27 civilians were killed after airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition hit residential buildings in Bani Hushaysh District, east of Sanaa, on Saturday. Al Masirah footage showed rescue teams pulling bodies from the rubble and the wounded being taken to hospital. BBC reported there was no comment from the Saudi coalition on the allegations. The strike came as the Yemen war has flared again after several years of relative calm. In recent days, fighting was also reported to have killed dozens of people in Taiz. The U.N. says more than 1,600 people have been killed and more than 300,000 displaced since the fighting escalated again.
