Police prepare to exhume Sutrimo after family files report

Investigators at Polda Metro Jaya are preparing an exhumation, or the opening of Sutrimo's grave, to examine the cause of death, which is considered suspicious. The plan emerged after Sutrimo's family filed a report with Polresta Banyumas on Saturday night, 8 August, and sought legal certainty over the death of the man identified as the head of household of former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah. Polda Metro Jaya public relations chief Budi Hermanto confirmed the exhumation preparations. The family said they had not been suspicious earlier, but conflicting reports prompted them to seek an explanation of whether the death was natural or not. They have not named a suspect and said they will cooperate if legal procedure requires the grave to be reopened.
