Polda Metro displays seized cash and gold from 13 searches
Police said the joint probe covers three cases: corruption, bribery or gratuities, and money laundering, with no suspects named.
Polda Metro Jaya displayed stacks of cash, gold bars, computers and documents seized in searches at 13 locations during a news conference in Jakarta on Friday (10/7). The searches were carried out by a joint team from Polda Metro Jaya and Kortastpidkor Polri as part of investigations into three alleged cases of corruption, bribery or gratuities, and money laundering. One of the locations searched was the home of Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah in the Sentul area of Bogor. Polda Metro Jaya public relations chief Budi Hermanto and criminal investigation director Victor Dean Mackbon said investigators were still examining all of the evidence seized. By the time of the news conference, police had not announced any suspects.
