Pertamina sends 11 tankers to restore fuel supply in Flores

47 of 52 gas stations in Flores are back online, while five sites in Manggarai, Manggarai Timur and Sikka remain under watch.

Pertamina Patra Niaga sent 11 tankers from Bima, Nusa Tenggara Barat, to Labuan Bajo to speed the restoration of BBM supplies in Flores after the earthquake. The convoy consisted of 10 16-kiloliter fuel tankers carrying Pertalite and Biosolar, plus one 16-kiloliter avtur tanker. Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, the crews headed directly to their assigned SPBU to accelerate distribution. Pertamina said 47 of the 52 SPBU in Flores have resumed operations. The five still closed are in Kabupaten Manggarai, Kabupaten Manggarai Timur, and one SPBUN in Kabupaten Sikka. The company is also rerouting supplies from other areas while monitoring safety, facilities and operational readiness at affected sites.
