2 Indonesian nationals lightly hurt in Houthi attack at Riyadh airport

Both were discharged on Oct. 11, while other Indonesians were told to avoid the King Khalid Airport area.

Two Indonesian nationals suffered minor injuries in a Houthi militia attack at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Oct. 11. The Indonesian Foreign Ministry said both were residents in Saudi Arabia, not umrah pilgrims, and were allowed to go home the same day after receiving treatment. RM, 45, was treated at Sulaiman Habib Al Shahafah Hospital, while ET, 32, was treated at Sulaiman Habib Al-Takhasusi Hospital. The ministry urged Indonesians in Saudi Arabia to heighten vigilance, avoid high-risk areas, especially around airports, limit nonessential travel, and check flight status with airlines. KBRI Riyadh and KJRI Jeddah are continuing operations while coordinating with Saudi authorities and monitoring the condition of Indonesians.
