Dukcapil opens mobile services Aug. 24-28 for NTT quake victims
Six teams will deploy to seven regencies so residents can replace lost or damaged e-KTP cards and other documents.
The Home Affairs Ministry, through the Directorate General of Dukcapil, is opening mobile population administration services for residents affected by the earthquake in Nusa Tenggara Timur on Aug. 24-28, 2026. The Dukcapil Tanggap Bencana NTT program targets residents who lost or damaged identity documents in the disaster. Dirjen Dukcapil Teguh Setyabudi said services are being provided directly at the locations under a door-to-door scheme so document issuance can proceed quickly, easily and free of charge. The Directorate General of Dukcapil has formed six teams that will work in Kabupaten Manggarai, Manggarai Barat, Manggarai Timur, Ngada, Nagekeo, Ende and Sikka. Each team carries e-KTP recording and printing equipment to help replace or issue new documents for affected residents.
