World Cup 2026 final: Argentina make 3 changes, Spain unchanged

Argentina and Spain named their official lineups for the World Cup 2026 final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States. Coach Lionel Scaloni made three changes to Argentina's starting side, while Luis de la Fuente kept Spain's eleven unchanged. Lionel Messi remains captain and partners Julian Alvarez in attack for Argentina. Behind them are Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernandez, Alexis Mac Allister and Nico Gonzalez, with Emiliano Martinez in goal. Spain keep their 4-2-3-1 shape with Mikel Oyarzabal as the striker, supported by Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo and Alex Baena, while Rodri leads the midfield. Ahead of the match, British media reported long queues outside the stadium after a ticketing outage that could delay kickoff.
