TKO took $30 million hit on UFC White House event in June
Why it matters: TKO said the show drew 34 million viewers worldwide and helped land 25 new marketing partners.
TKO Group said it lost about $30 million on UFC Freedom 250, a June 14 mixed martial arts event staged on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington. The company said unusually high production and event costs hurt UFC margins, though some of the expense was offset by sold-out global partnership inventory. Executives told investors the event delivered roughly $1 billion in earned media and publicity and helped secure 25 new marketing partners, many on multi-year deals. TKO said the card drew 34 million viewers globally. The parent company of UFC and WWE also reported second-quarter revenue and profit above analysts’ estimates and raised its 2026 outlook.
