Police hand over Don Ritto, 74 kg of gold, Rp543 billion to Kejagung
The second-phase transfer moves the suspect and evidence to prosecutors for indictment and trial preparation.
Police on Friday handed over private suspect Don Ritto, along with evidence including 74 kilograms of gold and Rp543 billion in cash, to Kejaksaan Agung. The second-phase transfer was tightly guarded by Brimob personnel and tactical vehicles. Don Ritto arrived wearing a detention uniform and handcuffed. The evidence was brought in containers, suitcases and a small safe. The handover marks the transfer of the case file, suspect and evidence from investigators to prosecutors for drafting the indictment and pursuing the case. In the same case cluster, the name of Febrie Adriansyah and the discovery of gold at a house in the Sentul area had previously drawn attention.
