Pertamina prepares alternative fuel route for Flores power plants
Supply is still being handled manually from FT Reo, with a backup route via IT Tanjung Wangi if the Labuan Bajo line is disrupted again.
Pertamina Patra Niaga is preparing an alternative fuel supply route for power plants in Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur, after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake on 15 August 2026. At present, supply for the plants is still moving from Fuel Terminal Reo under manual distribution arrangements. The company is monitoring the Reo-Labuan Bajo route and preparing a backup scheme through Integrated Terminal Tanjung Wangi if aftershocks again disrupt distribution. Pertamina is also adjusting stock requirements and delivery schedules on a regular basis. In addition to the power plants, supplies of Dex and Pertalite are being prepared to support TNI/Polri operations, including operational vessels used for disaster response and recovery.
