Baznas sends 1,900 meals, Padang adds 3.6 tons of rendang to NTT
Emergency food supplies at evacuation posts in Manggarai Timur increased, while rendang aid is targeted to reach 5 tons.
Baznas RI distributed 1,900 servings of ready-to-eat meals to residents affected by the earthquake in Nusa Tenggara Timur, mainly in Nanga Mbaling Village and Pota Village, Sambi Rampas District, Manggarai Timur Regency. The aid was delivered to several evacuation points serving 137 to 800 people per post. On the ground, Baznas Tanggap Bencana is also operating a public kitchen and water kitchen, and has opened a Rumah Sehat Baznas health service post at Pondok Pesantren Pancasila, Reok District, Manggarai Regency. Separately, the Padang city government, along with Gebu Minang, LKAAM Sumatera Barat, Hipermi, and Baznas Kota Padang, sent rendang for earthquake victims. The collected aid has reached 3.6 tons and is targeted to rise to 5 tons.
