KPK seizes documents after searches in 4 Bengkulu bribery sites
Investigators also questioned several witnesses at the BPKP Bengkulu office as the case expanded from the Rejang Lebong sting to Kota Bengkulu.
KPK seized documents and electronic items after searching four locations in Kota Bengkulu on 12-13 August 2026 in a bribery case tied to a project procurement probe. The four sites included the homes of two civil servants at the Kota Bengkulu PUPR Office, the home of a member of the Kota Bengkulu DPRD, and the home of a private party. On the same day, investigators also questioned several witnesses at the BPKP Provincial Representative Office in Bengkulu. The case is an outgrowth of a bribery sting involving project kickbacks at the Rejang Lebong Regency government. In the original case, KPK named five suspects, including Rejang Lebong Regent Muhammad Fikri Thobari and PUPRPKP Head Hary Eko Purnomo. Earlier searches in Kota Bengkulu also led to the seizure of Rp4 miliar in cash from Noprisman's house.
