KPK probes Bengkulu PUPR project after seizing Rp4 billion
Investigators are tracing the IPAL project and alleged cash flows to Bengkulu city officials, while expanding the case to Health Office projects.
KPK questioned Bengkulu city PUPR chief Noprisman after investigators seized Rp4 billion in cash from his home during a search in Bengkulu on 26 Juli 2026. The interview on Monday at the KPK's Red and White Building focused on projects in the PUPR Office, including the IPAL project, or wastewater treatment installation. Investigators are also tracing alleged payments to state officials within the Bengkulu city government. KPK said the case expansion is not limited to the IPAL project, but also covers projects at the Bengkulu City Health Office. The case grew out of an OTT into alleged advance payments for projects in Rejang Lebong district in the 2025-2026 fiscal year, which has already ensnared five suspects since 11 Maret 2026.
