Mazda, Hyundai and Toyota unveil new models at GIIAS 2026
Hyundai permanently cuts Stargazer Cartenz prices, while Mazda and Toyota expand EV and hybrid options in Indonesia.
Several automakers used GIIAS 2026 at ICE BSD, Tangerang, to expand their product lines in Indonesia. Mazda launched the All-New CX-5, the locally assembled CX-30, and the 6e Fastback electric car. Hyundai brought the Ioniq 9, Staria Electric, Staria Hybrid, the latest Palisade, Ioniq 3, and the NEIRA prototype. Toyota introduced the Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid EV, Land Cruiser FJ, and bZ4X Touring Battery EV. Hyundai also cut prices of the Stargazer Cartenz and Cartenz X as a permanent adjustment. Mazda's move came a day after the inauguration of its first assembly plant in Citeureup, West Java, while Hyundai and Toyota highlighted multi-technology strategies spanning gasoline engines, hybrids and electric vehicles.
