DSI targets extra $5 billion from 3 export commodities

Since starting June 1, 2026, DSI has handled $14 billion in export proceeds and will expand to 50 ports in 25 provinces.

President Prabowo Subianto said PT Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI) is targeting up to $5 billion in additional state revenue by monitoring prices and export transactions for coal, palm oil and ferro alloy. In 2 months and 13 days since it began operating on June 1, 2026, DSI has tracked more than 6,000 transactions and managed $14 billion in export proceeds. Prabowo said the system is used as a single monitoring gateway so reported cargo volumes, tonnage and values match the goods shipped. He cited under-invoicing in palm oil exports, when prices at Indonesian ports are around Rp15.000 per kilogram, while in the Rotterdam exchange they reach Rp27.000. DSI will next expand to 50 ports in 25 provinces and cover more strategic commodities.
