Prabowo says several ministers hospitalized from fatigue

President Prabowo Subianto said several ministers in the Red and White Cabinet were hospitalized because they were exhausted from work. In his state address at the annual MPR session and the joint session of the DPR and DPD at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (14/8), he said some ministers had fainted, undergone surgery and many were worn out. Prabowo said the condition reflected the intensity of the cabinet’s work over the 21 months of his administration. He claimed the government had decided on and implemented 121 transformative policies, or an average of one policy every five days. For the rest of his term, Prabowo vowed to give ministers more time to rest, although he also joked that his team would respond, “promises are just promises.”
