DPR Holds Closed Budget Hearing for BGN, 2027 Ceiling at Rp270 Trillion

Komisi IX DPR held a closed hearing with Badan Gizi Nasional at the DPR complex in Jakarta on Monday to discuss BGN's work plan and 2027 budget. The meeting was the first for BGN Chief Nanik Sudaryati Deyang since she was sworn in on June 8, 2026. Deputy Speaker of Komisi IX Nihayatul Wafiroh chaired the session and declared it closed to the public. In a break, Charles Honoris said the discussion was closed to avoid misperceptions, because the indicative ceiling of about Rp270 trillion was not final and still came from the previous BGN leadership lineup. Nanik attended with Deputy BGN Chief Trenggono. Nanik replaced Dadan Hindayana, while Trenggono and Agustina Arumsari replaced Sony Sanjaya and Lodewyk Pusung after corruption allegations in the management of the free nutritious meal program.
