Prabowo reviews 15 BRIN research booths at Palace, from MBG to nuclear

More than 150 researchers displayed food, energy, satellite and waste technologies tied to government priority programs.

President Prabowo Subianto reviewed BRIN strategic research presentations through 15 booths at the Jakarta Presidential Palace on Thursday. More than 150 researchers displayed technologies prepared to support national priority programs, including food, energy, health, transportation, defense, the environment, water security, and the Free Nutritious Meals Program. Prabowo was accompanied by BRIN head Arif Satria and BRIN deputy head Amarulla Octavian. Innovations on display included Indonesia-made satellite technology, waste management, solar-powered boats, and research for a giant sea wall. At the nuclear technology booth, BRIN researchers also explained readiness to support plans to build nuclear power plants and the potential for uranium and thorium in Indonesia.
