UEFA names Kvaratskhelia Champions League's top player
PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia earned UEFA's 2025/2026 Champions League player award after helping the club repeat as champions.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was named UEFA's Champions League player of the 2025/2026 season after helping Paris Saint-Germain retain the title. The award was announced on Sunday, 31 May 2026, a day after PSG beat Arsenal 4-3 on penalties in the final in Budapest after a 1-1 draw through extra time. Over the season, the Georgia winger scored 10 goals and added six assists. In the final, he also won the penalty that Ousmane Dembele converted to level the score. UEFA also included Kvaratskhelia in the season's best team alongside Dembele, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Vitinha of PSG. From Arsenal, David Raya, Gabriel and Declan Rice were also selected.
