President Donald Trump voted by mail in Florida's Republican primary after years of attacking mailed ballots as vulnerable to fraud and backing new limits on their use. Palm Beach County records cited by US media show Trump requested a ballot in late July and returned it last week for the Aug. 18 primary. Florida allows any eligible registered voter to request a mail ballot, though the state has tightened identification and ballot-handling rules. The White House argued Trump qualified because he was away from Florida. Trump has also pressed Congress to pass the SAVE America Act, which would tighten identification and citizenship rules and sharply restrict mail voting, while his administration asks the Supreme Court to restore parts of a blocked election order.
