MBG suspect Sony Sonjaya seeks JC, implicates 20+ names
The request was filed with the Attorney General’s Office and LPSK, while his lawyer said the disclosed list is only partial.
Former National Nutrition Agency deputy chief Sony Sonjaya has applied to become a justice collaborator in the corruption case over the administration of the Makan Bergizi Gratis program. His lawyer, Krisna Murti, said the request has been submitted to the Attorney General’s Office and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency, known as LPSK. During questioning, Sony was said to have identified more than 20 names allegedly linked to the case, though the list is described as only partial. The case has named three suspects: former BGN chief Dadan Hindayana, Sony, and Lodewyk Pusung. Investigators earlier said there were appointments of SPPG units linked to senior BGN officials and inflated procurements, including 21.801 electric motorbikes worth Rp1,03 triliun, 32.000 pairs of shoes, 31.994 tablets, and 5.400 75-inch televisions.
