Prabowo inaugurates Lampung hospital, targets 350 upgrades

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated RSUD KH Muhammad Thohir in Krui, Pesisir Barat Regency, Lampung, on Wednesday (10/6), while urging health services to be free from misuse and corruption. He stressed that management of regional hospitals must be transparent, professional, and focused on serving residents. On the occasion, Prabowo also said the government is targeting cheaper generic medicines within one year. The hospital is part of the Program Hasil Terbaik Cepat to expand health services in 3T areas. He said the government has built 22 RSUD in 2025 and will build 22 more in 2026. Over the next three years, the government is targeting construction or renovation of 350-400 hospitals across regencies and cities.
