Prabowo allocates 4 digital panels for NU schools, pesantren
Prabowo said the delay stemmed from cross-ministry paperwork, not a mistake by the education minister.
President Prabowo Subianto promised that schools and pesantren under Nahdlatul Ulama will receive four interactive flat panels, or IFPs. Opening the 35th NU congress at Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum, Tambak Beras, Jombang, he apologized that many NU education institutions had not yet received the devices. Prabowo said public schools received one screen per classroom last year and three more this year. Because distribution to NU institutions was delayed, the government will send four IFPs directly. He said the obstacle was interministerial administration, since public schools are handled by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, while madrasahs and religious education fall under the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
