KPK traces assets in hajj quota case, state loss Rp622 billion
Investigators are probing how the additional hajj quota was filled at PIHK while preparing to recover the state loss.
KPK is tracing the assets of suspects while questioning three private-sector witnesses in its investigation into alleged corruption in the 2023-2024 additional hajj quota at the Ministry of Religious Affairs on June 15. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the questioning also examines the process of filling the additional hajj quota at PIHK. The three witnesses were Ichwan Muzani Abrianto, director of PT Trikarya Idea Sakti King Yuwono, and finance staffer PT Raudah Eksati Utama Firda Alhamdi. On the same day, KPK also rescheduled questioning of Maktour boss Fuad Hasan Masyhur. The case has ensnared former Religious Affairs Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Ishfah Abidal Aziz alias Gus Alex, Ismail Adham, and Asrul Azis Taba. A BPK audit put the alleged state loss at Rp622 miliar.
