Joko Widodo's lawyer, Yakup Hasibuan, said the case over allegations of a fake diploma involving Roy Suryo is now awaiting the second-stage handover from Polda Metro Jaya to the prosecutor's office. He said the core issue is not a debate over the P21 form, but whether prosecutors have declared the case file complete. According to him, statements from the Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum show there are no further instructions to be fulfilled, leaving the case ready to go to court. Polda Metro Jaya previously said the files for Roy Suryo and Tifauziah Tyassuma, also known as dokter Tifa, had been declared complete by Kejaksaan Tinggi DKI Jakarta. After stage II, prosecutors will prepare the indictment before the case goes to trial.
