DPR protest briefly closes GT Slipi-Pejompongan, now normal
All traffic diversions on the inner-city toll road have ended, and access to DPR/MPR reopened at about 07.05 WIB.
A protest around the DPR/MPR building briefly closed several access points on Jakarta's inner-city toll road on Friday morning, including the Slipi and Pejompongan toll gates toward Grogol, before traffic gradually returned to normal. Jasa Marga said the closures were made at police discretion because of congestion on the Pejompongan/Slipi arterial road and in the Senayan area. According to the operator, traffic on the Cawang-Tomang-Pluit section from both directions reopened at 05.45 WIB. GT Slipi 1 and 2 resumed operations at 07.00 WIB, while the DPR/MPR exit reopened at 07.05 WIB. At 08.08 WIB, Jasa Marga reported that the Pejompongan exit toward Grogol had also reopened and traffic conditions were normal.
