BGN dismisses 261 non-ASN workers, processes 9 for firing

Badan Gizi Nasional has dismissed 261 non-ASN employees and is processing the removal of 9 ASN and PPPK personnel suspected of serious disciplinary violations. BGN head Sudaryono said the 261 dismissed workers included 224 non-ASN employees and 37 experts. He said violations found included indiscipline, online gambling, and alleged misappropriation of funds. In addition, BGN identified 39 ASN who committed minor disciplinary violations and is preparing sanctions in the form of transfers, demotions, administrative penalties, or warnings. At a press conference at the BGN building in Jakarta, Sudaryono also warned heads of Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi not to ask for additional fees from foundations or Makan Bergizi Gratis distribution partners, and not to mark up food ingredient purchases.
