Bali wins 2 top honors at 2026 Java-Bali regional awards

The Home Affairs Ministry recognized local governments with strong performance at the 2026 Regional Java-Bali Government Appreciation Awards at the Marriott Hotel Yogyakarta on Thursday (4/6). Bali provincial government took first place in the Inflation Control category and in Poverty Reduction and Stunting Reduction. The two wins earned Bali total incentives of Rp6 billion. At the regency level, Badung ranked first in the poverty and stunting category, followed by Gianyar and Tabanan. At the city level, Denpasar ranked first in the same category and also placed third for reducing unemployment. Kemendagri divides the awards by region, not nationally, with Rp3 billion for first place, Rp2 billion for second place and Rp1 billion for third place.
