Argentina rallies from 2-0 down to beat Egypt 3-2 in World Cup

Argentina overturned a 2-0 deficit late Tuesday, scoring three times in the final 13 minutes to beat Egypt 3-2 and reach the World Cup quarterfinals in Atlanta. Egypt took control early when Yasser Ibrahim scored in the 15th minute, then appeared to seal the match when Mostafa Ziko made it 2-0 in the 67th after another Egyptian goal had been wiped out by video review. Lionel Messi missed a penalty before igniting the comeback. Cristian Romero headed in from a Messi cross in the 79th minute, Messi equalized four minutes later for his eighth goal of the tournament, and Enzo Fernandez won it with a stoppage-time header. Egypt coach Hossam Hassan later criticized the officiating and said his team had been treated unfairly.
