YouTrip outage hit payments, top-ups and FX services in Singapore, Thailand
What's new: Only a handful of functions stayed online, while Australia was under maintenance and Malaysia remained operational.
YouTrip suffered a major outage on Monday that knocked out most of its services in Singapore and Thailand, disrupting card payments, wallet top-ups, in-app currency exchange and some ATM withdrawals. Around midday, the company’s status page showed 19 of 23 services in Singapore were affected and 11 of 14 in Thailand were unavailable. In Australia, the platform was listed as under maintenance, while services in Malaysia were shown as operational. YouTrip said its app was facing technical difficulties and warned users of service degradation as teams carried out maintenance. The company did not say when the outage began or when full service would return.
