White and pink tabebuya bloom on Jalan Kramat Raya, Jakarta

A row of tabebuya trees in bloom on Jalan Kramat Raya, Jakarta, on Monday (24/8), brought white and pink color to the capital's traffic. Residents and motorists passed under the flowering trees, while the view along the pedestrian path became a draw in the area. Antara reported that tabebuya were planted to beautify pedestrian routes and are known to tolerate hot weather and grow up to 10 meters. Republika wrote that tabebuya blooming is a seasonal dry-season phenomenon, usually occurring between July and October, and this time it added color to the dry August atmosphere.
