52-year-old woman found dead in blood at Grogol Petamburan boarding house
Police are still questioning witnesses, while residents said the victim's husband has fled the area.
A woman identified only as M, 52, was found dead in a boarding room on Jalan Makaliwe, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, on Wednesday night. Residents found the victim lying on her back on a bed with injuries and blood on her body after the boarding house owner saw blood dripping from the second floor. Police installed a police line and examined the scene. Grogol Petamburan Police Chief AKP Reza Aditya confirmed the discovery and said investigators are still reviewing witness statements. According to residents at the scene, the victim had lived in the boarding house with her husband for a long time, but the pair kept to themselves. Residents also suspected the husband fled after the incident.
