US strikes 6 bridges in Iran as Tehran hits Gulf and Syria targets

What's new: Hormozgan officials said seven people were killed, while Iran claimed attacks on sites in Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and al-Tanf in Syria.

The United States hit six bridges in Iran's Hormozgan province overnight, with Iranian state media and local officials also reporting strikes on a railway station and Iranshahr Airport as the air campaign entered a sixth straight night. Hormozgan authorities said seven people were killed. BBC Verify confirmed damage to Gariveh Bridge. The White House said US forces targeted military and logistics sites, not civilian infrastructure. Iran's Revolutionary Guard said it responded by striking US maritime surveillance radar sites in Oman and other targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, and by attacking a US special operations command center at al-Tanf in Syria. Kuwait said Iranian strikes hit power and desalination facilities and wounded several military personnel.
